A New Whore In New York

Seth played up his looks night after night for weeks after that night. He wasn't really talking, but he would tell people the price. He felt betrayed in his heart and his mind. He'd made enough money and while sleeping on his old bench, he had to sneak into the apartment to get his paychecks. He slept around, made money and got a small apartment but he still spent most of his time in Central Park playing.

He sang quietly to himself when he noticed someone familiar. "Kurt?" He whispered and glanced up.

Kurt stopped dead in his tracks upon hearing his name. He looked around to see where it was coming from and noticed a man playing a guitar, a man he recognized that he had thought was gone for good.

"S...Seth is that you? What are you doing? Are you OK?" he said has he rushed over to where Seth was.

Seth frowned and nodded. "Yeah... Why?" He asked and tilted his head. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he held his guitar closely. "D-Don't tell Seb I'm still around. He probably thinks I went home." He murmured.

"But Seth he has been worried sick about you. He called home and they didn't know where you where he has been looking for you. He even tried to find you at that one place but they wont let him or I in to check. You have no idea how hes been since you left."

Kurt said angrily. He was in shock that someone would do this to their own family, their own brother. He just wanted to walk away, But who knows what would happen to Seth if he did that he had to find out the reason he ran away. He sat down beside Seth trying to compose himself before he said anything else.

Seth rolled his eyes. "He's better off without me... He's got you." He said and then shrugged. "I...." He sighed. "You make him happy. Just tell him I'm safe." He said as he packed up his guitar quietly. "Tell him I love him and I'm sorry." He then bit his lips, fingers twitching. He was so used to signing he was sure he'd keep it up with those who knew the language. He preferred it.

"Seth please wait. He is lost without you. I may be there but I don't think its the same. He needs you too. Can you please just talk to him. Explain to him why you left. He is feeling like he did something wrong." Kurt asked sadly he hated to see both these boys like this they looked so much alike it was uncanny and it broke his heart that Seth seemed to think that Sebastian was better off with out him. There was so many times before Kurt's dad remarried that he wished he had a sibling, someone to tell his secrets too ,to back him up ,to be there for him.

Seth rolled his eyes and turned to look at him. "Callbacks. Monday night. Don't tell him." He whispered and then walked off. He didn't know what else to say, Sebastian wasn't supposed to be.... upset. He was supposed to be getting on with his life.

Kurt watched Seth walk away. Then dug his phone out of his pocket and sent a text to Sebastian to see about going to Callbacks on Monday they had planned on going out anyway just hadn't really decided where yet.
